About Meridian 17
Meridian 17 is a think and do tank focused on value creation in the real-world outcomes of all its work – be it research, events, coalition building, advocacy work or in public debate. We believe that progress and change is a two-way street – and both African countries and companies, and their European counterparts can achieve greater success through partnership.
Meridian 17 is constantly seeking commonality and opportunity to deliver impact and work to translate policy frameworks to help members of the business communities achieve their goals.
Policy change is not our primary point of departure in the work we do. Rather, we research ways to create positive impact within the existing policy frameworks in which companies, organisations and governments operate. Suggestions for policy changes are often an outcome of our work, as a conclusion of how partnership could be further enhanced in the future.

We envision a future where open dialogue fosters solid trade practices and policies, furthering economic growth, cultural exchange and scientific exploration.
